It's the "David Guetta" phase!

Last year when I had started to get fit, I went through this hard core David Guetta phase. I used to have his songs playing on a loud volume through my earphones, and I used to cardio my ass off. There's just something about those screaming singers and the beat and the adrenaline and the agony and the combination makes up for a pretty intense workout session. Needless to say that had worked wonders for my body and I ended up losing 12 kilos in a matter of 3 months. But then I went back to my old ways and life took over, I stopped paying attention to my health come last April and even though I did not put on a lot of inches, I put on 5 kilos of weight due to sheer overeating, depression and a bad lifestyle overall. No points for guessing that the David Guetta folders were not opened. No music folders were opened at all.

It's been a week since I have started with my high intensity workouts this year, and this time it is a group workout at the gym so it helps me push myself and Leo and June help me out too, coz we go to the gym together. I cannot even explain how amazingly light, pepped up, chirpy and in a good mood I feel after workouts. Zumba is the perfect start to our day and our instructors mix it up with bollywood and tollywood music to spice it up a little bit, and it completely rocks! Spinning is very intense too, I wonder if I can keep spinning coz I really had a hard time cycling through an entire 45 minute session and half the time we were standing and cycling. That was really strenuous but I can see the changes in my body already. Kick Boxing is always fun. So even if my body is sore right now and every inch of it hurts, I am smiling!

Do I even need to mention that the David Guetta songs are all favorited on my music player and are playing on loop all day?!

Hope you guys had an awesome week and have a better weekend ahead of you :D

It's like... Totally like... You know like... I mean like...

... like, you know... that feeling. That feeling when you cannot express it into words. And you don't need to. Coz' the opposite person will get you if they have ever felt that way too. I cannot express how I feel but I can definitely tell you guys about the events that led to it.

I decided to make it up to The Writer today. We spent a good afternoon, bonding.

It was nothing different than the usual afternoon, yet it was special.

I am beaming right now! Even through the vacation tan! :P

Of instantly forgetting about all the turmoil at that one sight...

I had a good discussion with The Writer last week. After the PMS blastoff he needed very little explanation about what was going on in my mind, and he completely made it up to me over the weekend. Friday he brought me something on his way home, Saturday he took me out on a dinner date. So all in all it has been good so far. He requested me to cook for him today and I said sure, coz we agreed that I will cook for him twice a week if I am in the mood. But for no good reason the PMS kicked in again and I was such a mean bitch to him all day long that we hardly even spoke to each other all afternoon. I apologized later, and will make it up to him tomorrow for sure. I should not be spoiling his mood this way coz it also affects his work for the rest of the day where he has to be in a decent mood to be churning out ideas in front of his producers.

On the other hand my weekend was completely packed with activity which is very rare in my case coz I am a sloth like that. So other than going out with The Writer, I spent most of my weekend with my extended family doing a lot of fun stuff and on Sunday Joe, Leo, Panana and Me met after a really long time. All hell breaks loose when we meet coz it is like a real mad house. I should also introduce Leo's girlfriend here, let us call her June. So June is this adorable little girl who has a really loud laughter but thanks to her doe eyed face and cute expressions she gets away with a lot of things, haha! So all of us went driving in the awesome rainy weather, and I finally got the chance to strike off a very important thing off my List. We went very close to Marine Drive (#42) .

We were at Worli seaface, which is basically an extension of Marine Drive. The sound of the waves lashing at you and the sun setting right in front of you erases every single ounce of any worry you have in your head, and while you can smell the salinity of the water and the sheer goodness of the occasional droplets of water splashing on your face, you get drawn into nothingness, and that is where you find real peace. That smile, is the real smile. That, is satisfaction. Such a beautiful place is only a miracle in a busy and noise city such as Mumbai, where people sit right next to you on the same platform looking at the same waves, but it is amazing how a single wave plays host to washing out the grief of thousands of lives, millions of stories in one single go. What a wonderful way to strike off No.42 but I promise that I will be back there more often than not!

In other news, gym has started full swing and even my fingers hurt me while I typed this post out but No pain No gain :D

PS: I just wanna say a special thanks to everyone who commented on my last post. I was really messed up and every single word that was sent really made me see things in a new light. Thank you so much guys <3
